Restaurants and gift shops are open seasonally from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm; and October through March from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm
Our restaurants are operated by the world-class Centerplate. We use locally farmed produce, and our hamburgers are made with all natural, vegetarian-fed, certified-humane 100% U.S. Angus beef. The restaurants use bio-degradable paper and plastic products (the cutlery is made from potatoes!), and urge customers to use recycling bins when throwing away plastic products.
Our gift shops are operated by Wildlife Trading Company (WTC), which has a 35 year track record at zoos, aquariums, museums, botanical gardens and other leisure attractions in the United States. With a highly experienced retail staff, WTC is an innovator in store design, product development, operations and customer service. Our gift shops carry a great selection of environmental and animal-themed merchandise, as well as unique gifts you can only find at Roger Williams Park Zoo. All of our concessions operate with “green” practices in mind and a portion of the profits come back to support Zoo animal care and education conservation programs! We accept cash, MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover Card.
