Saturday, October 20 & Saturday, October 27: Boo at the Zoo! A Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular Family Overnight (ages 6+)
Time: 6:30 pm - 10:00 am
- Members: $120 per parent/child pair; $60 per additional participant.
- Non-members: $130 per parent/child pair; $65 per additional participant.
The night begins with pizza and ice cream before educators engage you and your child(ren) in an owl pellet dissection, program animal encounters, and VIP access to the world famous Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular. Set up your sleeping bags in the Meller-Danforth Education Center with popcorn and a movie. You will need your zzzzs before waking up with the animals! We provide a light breakfast before a morning Zoo tour.
Please note: There must be at least a 1:3 parent/child ratio. This program is not designed for adults without children
Important registration note: There are no refunds unless program is cancelled by the Zoo.
All requests to change the date of your program must be made at least 48 hours prior to the start of your scheduled program. Requests are not guaranteed and are dependent upon availability. A fee of $20 per program participant will be assessed when any change to your program date is made.

You never know who might show up at the Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular. Comic book fans might meet Black Panther, Captain America, Iron Man, Spider Man, and the gang. Take a photo, and find out how they all save the world. As our heroes go back out to fight evil, find your hero’s pumpkin on the pumpkin trail.

Cost: Included with the price of your Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular ticket.
Please note: Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular is open rain or shine. In the case of light to moderate rain, the show will be open. NO REFUNDS OR RESCHEDULING.

Spooky Zoo is back, offering daytime outdoor autumn activities for the whole family. Come trick-or-treat (while supplies last) with us beginning at 10:00 am. Kids and adults will enjoy a packed schedule of seasonal activities including: animal encounters, the annual elephant Pumpkin Stomp, meet & greet with costumed characters, hands-on crafts, and free trick-or-treat bags provided by National Grid!
Please note: This event is free with Zoo admission and all children 12 and under dressed in costume get in for half price. All activities are weather permitting and while supplies last.
This exciting 45-minute concert specifically geared towards our youngest Zoo guests promises to be fun for the whole family. The Rock-a-Baby trio will introduce the true stars of their show – “Rhythm, Melody and Harmony” - three silly and entertaining puppets who know a lot about music. Playing everything from well-known children’s songs to rock and pop classics - shake, dance and sing along as we explore fun musical concepts, play games, and boogie down.
Time: 10:30am - 11:15am (all concerts)
Price: $7.00 per participant (age 2 & older) Pre-Registration is required.

Please note: There are no refunds unless the Zoo cancels the program. We must receive requests to transfer the date of your registration at least 48 hours in advance. We cannot guarantee your requests that may be dependent upon availability. If there are any changes to your registration, there is a $5 fee.
This program fee does not include Zoo admission. You must purchase Zoo tickets at the Zoo entrance on the day of the concert. If you are a Zoo member, you may use your membership to enter the Zoo, so your only expense will be the Rock-a-Baby program fee!
Marco Polo’s adventure brought him face to face with the exotic animals of the Silk Road, and so will yours! Start by dining on a hot breakfast buffet of fresh fruit, softly scrambled eggs, smoked bacon and country sausage, breakfast potatoes tossed with peppers and onions, freshly brewed coffee (regular and decaf), tea and a variety of chilled juices, and spring water. After breakfast, you’ll join zookeepers that care for the animals of Marco Polo’s Adventure Trek in opening for the day; climb into the bear exhibit to prep it for their arrival, get up close with a camel, and see the snow leopards, red pandas, cranes & takin get their first enrichment of the day. Capacity is limited to 25 participants, so register early!

Please note: Capacity is limited to 25 participants. Breakfast with the Animals is rain or shine. Tickets are non-refundable. Ticket price includes a hot breakfast buffet, program, and admission to the Zoo post program. Participants age 15 and younger must be accompanied by a registered adult. Pre-registraion is required. The behind-the-scenes components of this program are not wheelchair accessible. Some climbing over rocks required.
