No. Public restrooms are available, but do not include showers.
Chaperoning adults are welcome to supplement either meal by bringing vegetables, salad and/or fruit – a refrigerator is available. Any medical or cultural dietary restrictions are the responsibility of chaperones, and should be discussed prior to your overnight.
An individual certified in First Aid and CPR is onsite at all times. We collect information on participant needs prior to each overnight experience. Zoo staff are well trained in accommodating guests' needs. All medications are the responsibility of chaperones, and those with food allergies are encouraged to bring their own meal substitutions.
While touring the zoo at night is fun for all ages, sleeping overnight can be intimidating. More importantly, we form the program for specific ages. Please consider one of the Zoo’s day education programs or events for younger children.
Zoo Overnights are rain or shine, and outdoor components continue as planned except when safety is of concern. Participants are always encouraged to bring weather and seasonally appropriate clothing.
