We are sad to report our female white cheeked gibbon, Gloria, passed away on December 21, 2012.
For the past year, she received extensive medical care; however, her condition began to deteriorate significantly in recent weeks. Due to the sever decline in her quality of life it was decided that euthanasia was the kindest choice for her.
Gloria was part of our gibbon family for 23 years and gave birth to five offspring.
She will be missed by staff, volunteers and visitors alike.
