In the 1900s there were over 10 million African elephants and about 100,000 Asian elephants left. Today, there are an estimated 450,000 - 700,000 African elephants and between 35,000 - 40,000 Asian elephants left in the wild and in Zoos combined! How can you help conserve these majestic land giants?
Join us on Saturday, Aug. 12 for World Elephant Day activities! We have partnered with Ivory Ella, who will be onsite as part of the festivites, to help educate guests on the dangers these magnificent animals face. Meet Kate, Ginny and Alice; experience the top-level care they receive and learn how you can help save their wild counterparts.
