Zoo Adventures (Ages 6 -11)

In lieu of in-person camps, Roger Williams Park Zoo is excited to offer ZooCamp: Digital Adventures for ages 6-10! This is hybrid online/offline camp! Spend time with your camp counselors and fellow campers in live interactive sessions online with all of your favorite parts of ZooCamp! Crafts, snack, animals, games, songs and more! In your ZooCamp Adventure Box, you will find activities and games curated by the ZooCamp team to get you moving inside and out when we aren’t online! We may be able to offer summer experiences to other age groups, but those will be announced at a later date.

*NEW Summer 2020: Digital Adventures (virtual ZooCamp) (Ages 6-10)

ZooCamp this year will look a little different, but we have managed to pack in all our favorite parts of ZooCamp and even a few extras.

ZooCamp: Digital Adventures is a weeklong hybrid camp experience. Before their scheduled camp, campers will receive a ZooCamp Adventure Box containing your camp shirt, some craft supplies and additional activities! Three times a week, on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, campers can join us for a live 3 hour interactive camp session. We will play games, create crafts, sing, dance, visit animals and more! All of this led by our dedicated counselor team. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, your camper will find in their ZooCamp Adventure boxes activities designed to get them engaged away from a screen and in some cases outside! Join us for a week of ZooCamp fun, learning and experience unlike any of the “virtual” learning you are used to. Read ahead to find out the theme of each week!

Camper may choose to either attend the AM session running from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM or the PM session from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

Using beaks, toes, teeth, paws, big mouths and little mouths, the different ways that animals chow down at mealtimes are as fascinating as the animals themselves. Elbows off the table, dude.
