Treat Mom to some Wild fun at Roger Williams Park Zoo’s Mother’s Day Weekend

Free Zoo Admission for Mom attending with a child on May 12 & 13

Providence, RI – Roger Williams Park Zoo is honoring moms with not just one, but two days of fun activities and wild encounters during Mother’s Day Weekend, May 12 and 13. All mothers will receive free admission to the Zoo (when accompanied by a child on these days).

The Zoo is also hosting a variety of special activities for all Zoo visitors (free with Zoo admission) during the entire Mother’s Day weekend, May 12 and 13.  Art creation stations will be open for kids to make a special present for mom!  Outdoor activity zones featuring hula hooping, jump roping, bean bag toss, chalk drawing, horseshoes and more will entertain the whole family, along with animal encounters, music and entertainers, making for a memorable trip to the Zoo with mom.

For more information about these events and visiting the Zoo, visit  Roger Williams Park Zoo is open year ‘round, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily (last admission at 3:30 p.m.).  (Closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas day, and at 2 p.m. on the last Saturday of June.)  Regular admission prices are $14.95 for adults, $9.95 for children ages 3 – 12 and $12.95 for seniors ages 62+ (children under 3 and Zoo members get in free).
