Our armadillo quadruplets have been named after different types of shells in honor of their dad, Sheldon, who passed away recently. Sheldon was one of the oldest nine-banded armadillos in human care at almost 19 years old. He was the “sweetest old man with quite the personality” and made lasting impressions on thousands of guests each year at Connection Corner.

Sheldon’s legacy as an incredible ambassador to his species will live on through these girls as they will continue to educate and inspire guests for years to come. 💙
